The Convento de Santa Clara is just around the corner from the Banys Àrabs in the old town of Palma. The monastery was founded in 1256 by nuns of the Franciscan Order of Saint Clare. They originally came from Girona. The church of Santa Clara has been greatly remodeled over the centuries.
